Partly cloudy skies and muggy conditions have ruled the day 
today. Afternoon highs ranged from the low 80s in Southeast Kansas, 
to near 90 in Western Kansas. Winds have been out of the south and
southeast, ranging from 7 to 20 mph, with the higher winds in 
Western Kansas.

Tonight will be partly to mostly cloudy and continued muggy.
Overnight lows will range from the upper 50s to low 60s region
wide. Winds will continue to be out of the south and east at 15 to
25 mph.

Thursday will be partly cloudy and muggy. Afternoon highs will
range from the upper 70s to low 80s. Winds will be out of the
south, ranging from 15 to 25 mph. Showers and thunderstorms will be
likely across much of Central and Western
Kansas during the mid to late afternoon. Some of these storms are
likely to be severe.
